Oh good, you made it here in one piece

Now that you're here, you should take a seat and get comfortable. Would you like something to drink? to eat? a blanket? a book? a turtle? (just making sure you're paying attention).

Anyway, the purpose of this blog is purely selfish. You've moved away (or we hardly see or talk to each other) and I don't like it one bit. I would really like for us to use this as a meeting ground where we (you) can post about our lives and adventures in far off lands (ok Tampa is not that far, but you know what I mean). I really miss our interactions and I really would like to keep in touch. I know that our hectic lives don't allow us to be calling each other all the time. So what happens? We only talk every once in a while and then when we do talk, we have to fill each other in on half a year's worth of stuff. Because of this, a lot of stuff is bound to get lost in the shuffle.

This can be like our notes that we used to write to each other in school (except this won't be taken away by the teacher), or it can be like a daily journal to jot down some feelings or something that's bothering us. You can give updates to everyone at once, without having to rehash the same story over and over again. We can rant about work, men or just life in general. We can recall fond memories and make new ones. Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came (oh wait, isn't that a bar?).
